Xabec's style: Xabec's music spans the depths between ambience and sound art, between industrial, electronica and modern laptop music. Suspension dominates and the music takes its time to illuminate even the smallest of nuances. Experimentally noisy, subtly woven sound tapestries take the listener through unique soundscapes. Sound color is the vital ingredient of the intensive composition. Other central parameters are dynamics and the perpetual flow of sounds. The new CD Xabec Transformed: Xabec invited twelve artists from different electronic genres to transform his works from 2000–2008. The genres range from ambient to industrial: Northaunt, Incite, Wild Shores, The Empath, Alio Die, Patrick Franke, Shachtanlage Gegenort, Elektronengehirn, Atmogat, Orphx, Contagious Orgasm, Ah Cama-Sotz. The guests' individual and pronounced artistic styles, work ethic, and aesthetics are a unifying feature. The result of these transformations is as different and interesting as each of the invited artists. In order to cultivate an open work environment, the artists were provided with as many individual tracks and sounds as possible - anywhere between 2 and 30. Sometimes classical remixes were created; sometimes new works arose that still correspond to the original.

Dark-Ambient-Radio presents: " DARK-AMBIENT-RADIO VOL.1 " (CD)
Low frequencies, deep atmospheres, layers of darkness. All this decorated with slow, wicked melodies. Music not usually coming from your radio, more likely coming from the abyss scorching inside a sick mind. But there is this place - Dark Ambient Radio. A place which provides with a shelter not only those who enjoy drowning their senses in dark soundscapes and atmospheres but also the ones who dare to create them.
And not only it gives a shelter to the dark ambient producers who lurk in this online community. It also gave them the chance to present their work to the world. So thirteen artists united, composed eleven tracks and created 70 minutes pure, dark ambient madness. In the first (and hopefully not last) volume of Dark Ambient Radio Compilation you'll be able to hear tracks by established artists such as Ah Cama-Sotz, Svartsinn, Dark Muse, Phelios and Stephen Parsick but you will also have the chance to discover the works of younger projects such as Nihil Communication, Nagual Art, Evoke Scurvee, Mytrip, All Sides, Megatone, Phobos and False Mirror.
