[prologue]
The word occult is derived from the Latin word occultus which means "hidden". Occult blood is a medical term which refers to blood which cannot be seen, except perhaps under a microscope. Ghostly visions are proven to happen, whatever their nature may be, hallucinatory or otherwise;
OCCULT: A set of mostly unrelated divination and/or spiritual practices or activities which appear to tap into forces that have not been explained by science, and which are not conventional practices seen in traditional religions. Many conservative Christians believe that if a person engages in occult experiences, then "points of contact or entanglement with demonic entities" will occur, and "malevolent spiritual entities" (demons) can infiltrate their mind and body. They become demon possessed.
Common conservative Christian belief about the Occult:
All occultic activities are controlled by demonic forces, and are inspired by Satan.
Engaging in any occultic practice will lead to personal demon possession.
All occultic activities are controlled by a single, secret, international organization that is seeking total political power.
Occultists hate Christianity. etc ....
Belief by others about the Occult:
With the exception of Satanists, no occult groups recognize the existence of Satan. Mental health professionals essentially all agree that demons do not exist. Possession is impossible.
All occultic groups work quite independently of others, with the exception of cooperation during psychic fairs.
Some Satanists ridicule Christianity. Some Wiccans are annoyed by prejudice and physical attacks on them by Christians. But, most of the remaining occultists are Christians. etc ...

Elizabeth Bathory is known like Blood Countess or Cachtice Lady. Why Blood Countess? Elizabeth tortured to death over 600 girls during her lifetime. She had two reasons. The first one: she believed that blood would rejuvenate her skin and make her appear younger. Another reason: Her cruel nature...

this is a new project of dr. blood of ah cama-sotz, dealing with dark ritual side of the ambient genre. both tracks, "hidden room" and "murmur" are a lot noisier and more overloaded (not to say cluttered) than usual ah cama-sotz material. as a result, they are not as immediately captivating and rich as, for instance, "u-boot."
" hidden room " opens up with overloaded mass of confused noises with small strings and disappearing chants mixed with vocal samples; all this is buried deep underneath the noisy mass and only towards the end of the track it slowly emerges from heavy mass of static supported by sparse beat. this is where the track finally comes together - distant female chant is glowing through the layered static while sparse steady percussion.
" murmur " features a heavy breathing mechanized organism that serves as a background to more ritualistic samples and chants. the track slowly arrives to the point where more elements appear in the mix, just to quickly fade away; slowed down and sinister vocal processing adds an interesting touch to the whole track.
overall, I cannot say that it is a distinct new direction or that it is a superior herman's work, but a few moments at the end of "hidden room" as well as some atmospheric movements contrasting dark churning mass on "murmur" is what makes this ultra-rare record (limited to 207 copies) worth getting.
